Hi, I have just received a couple of tickets regarding an earlier chat with customer services. They are a copy of internal communications from plusnet just to keep me posted of what is going on. I am just wondering what the acronyms used are. Not through concern, just through general curiosity. They are:

Regarding my phone line:
1) "CLT fails causing DCN and LTB"
2) "eu currently transferring service... "

And my current package:
3) "PSTN"

So i am wondering what "CLT, DCN, LTB, EU, and PSTN stand for.

EU in this context will mean End User i.e. you the customer
PSTN would generally refer to Public Switched Telephone Network i.e. a bog standard BT copper line rather than Cable, etc.
I think DCN is Dropped ConnectioN, and a little googling suggests LTB is Lower Threshold Breach

No idea what CLT is though

My own guess that that would be a Closed Loop Test. But not sure. Thanks though.

I thought CLT was copper line test, but that's just a guess.

Actually that may make more sense, as it would seem that the exchange has ****ed up my copper line!

CLT = Copper Line Test
DCN = Dropping Connection
LTB = Low Threshold Breach
EU = End User
PSTN = Public Switched Telephone Network
