With falling speeds on my BT line with madasafish, never good at maximum 1.5, tried to get some info first from Bt sales then online. Bt informs me that I most certainly can get up to 20 and on line maximum 1.5. Nowhwere can I find information when my Kings Lynn exchange will be upgraded. The information on the plusnet site is total gobbledegook. Does anyone have any more precise information?

It already is enabled according to the information on the Usertools checker
http://usertools.plus.net/exchanges/ and on the Plusnet list
http://community.plus.net/21cn-exchange-availability/
You need your exchange code (EAKLN) from the first link to find the status in the latter.

Entering the attenuation from your router stats into Kitz's calculator
http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/max_speed_calc.php
will give you theoretical performance information for your line on ADSL1 and ADSL2+.

Hope this helps

Hi
My speeds seem to have dropped from around 5mb to about 1.5/6mb
i see that the Rock Ferry exchange is scheduled for upgrade work in feb but it was last updated in January
i have put in my original router and there's no noticeable difference.
could you check if this upgrade work may be the problem?
Thanks
David

According to the Plusnet list
http://community.plus.net/21cn-exchange-availability/
a 21CN service is available to those on the Rock Ferry (LVROC) exchange. However the upgrade to this up-to-20Mbps service is available only to those on the Plusnet Premium and Plusnet Pro products. Plusnet have yet to announce their policies with regard to 21CN and legacy products.

However upgrading an exchange for 21CN should not have any effect on 20CN services. These remain as they are so your speed problems should be unconnected with this.

Have you raised a ticket concerning your problems (https://faults.plus.net/)?

Note that I am a customer just like yourself so have no access to any information concerning your account.
