Any idea why we are suddenly getting http://snipurl.com/3kklf'>http://snipurl.com/3kklf instead of http://usertools.plus.net/status/archive/1219306893.htm'>http://usertools.plus.net/status/archive/1219306893.htm

Now changed to BBYW Option 2 and seeing what difference it makes
Wish I had changed earlier as I have seen very little difference

I assume it's an attempt to make the URL reference shorter for display purposes, but I don't recall any mention that Comms were going to try this.

What I don't understand was why they didn't use http://users.plus.net/QL:7D77CBC4

I would have thought PN users would be more comfortable clicking a plus.net link than a snipurl.com link!

Can a uasergroup rep have a look at this thread and perhaps fix the link http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,67732.0.html

Usertools is really Phil and Colin's baby - although Maurice and I have access to the server, it's labyrinthine in nature and it wouldn't be impossible for one of us to break something else in passing.

It's the PlusNet Way

The URL is getting garbled because we made changes to these pages a while back to create hyperlinks from URLs. The Usertools feed doesn't like the HTML.
