Can anybody direct me to a +net page that shows the relative merits of business to private +net accounts please?
Currently I'm a private subscriber but am considering changing to a business account...

Hi there,

The residential features can be found here, and the business ones here.

Whether it's worth changing depends entirely on what you want from the connection, with particular attention to usage (when and how much) and which additional features you require.

You get prioritised business support on a business product, from a dedicated team within our  Support Centre.

Hope this helps. Smiley

Kind Regards

Hi there,

Thanks for taking the time to speak to me this morning.

One of the key merits of using our Business Products is our Business Support Team.  They work 8am-8pm.  As an example, on the 5th (I don't have the stats for yesterday I'm afraid, 91% of calls were answered within 60 seconds.

There are no set usage limits on our Business products.  Feel free to give me a shout if you have any further queries and I'll be more than happy to give you a ring back.

Kind Regards,

I phoned at 9:30pm the other night and was answered by the business support team within 15s of the phone ringing. Pretty impressed I must say.

Really?

I thought that business support was passed back to the general support team at that time of night.

It is Smiley

There's still a full team on at that time of night and if you look at http://csc.plus.net you'll be able to see what the call volumes are like.

James, can you clarify?

Was it just that overall call volumes were low when Ian rang? In other words, ringing the residential support number would have produced the same effect. Or are calls to the business support number still pushed to the head of the queue even though they may be answered by one of the general team, rather than by a dedicated business support agent?

I try & avoid sending a ticket 'out of hours' in hope that it will then be seen first by a business support agent & hopefully get a business grade attempt at a 'first time fix'. Same with phone calls, although I view ringing in as very much a case of last resort.

Well the agent certainly made sure I was a business customer as I called the business support number so assumed it was the business support team.

Business Support definitely work 8-8.  The Residential Support Team will pick up on tickets and calls outside of those hours.

It will just have been because it was quiet that the call was answered so quickly.  Although you would generally expect that at that time in the evening.
