Do you know what a BarCamp is?

BarCamp is an international network of unconferences open, participatory workshop-events, whose content is provided by participants focusing on early-stage web applications, and related open source technologies and social protocols.

Well, we're hosting one.  Weekend of 13th - 15th April 2007, right here at Internet House!

The topics will cover:-

[1] Social Networks
[2] Web 2.0 applications
[3] The future of the web in the UK and beyond
[4] New business models for the next generation net

There will be a prize (a Slingbox) for the best presentation.

There will also be an award to the developer(s) of the best new UK based web application / mashup of 1000.

This is a FREE event.  Participants are encouraged to present / discuss their ideas openly and freely.

Food (Breakfast & Lunch), Drinks (Tea, Coffee, Coke) & BEER! (after 5pm) will be provided free of charge.

Projectors and PC's for presentations are supplied.

The schedule & directions to the event are on the event homepage:-
