This morning I reported for work at our brand new building, the aptly named "Internet House 2". As did the CSC for their 7am shift.

It's been a massive effort, and it's not over yet, but having everyone in one building is going to be a fantastic benefit to us all.

For a last chance to see the former Internet House - go to http://www.plus.net/webcams/ - we're hoping to get these changed to the new webcams at 'IH2' very shortly!

I'm going to try and get some pictures up somewhere over the next few days.

As per Service Status, the telephone system is currently unavailable whilst we make the switchover - but all being well we'll be able to go live and take Customer Support calls from our brand new site. A momentous occasion it will be!

Kitz is going to have a redundant webpage soon.  The CSC cams were the only two left working, and by the looks of things there won't be much to see by Monday.  I wonder if the removals men know the cameras are still on. grin

I can't get the webcams to work. This computer's never had the Axis ActiveX control on it, and it doesn't appear to want to load. I've lowered my security settings to allow it to work, but it's having none of it Sad

I had a lot of bother with the Axis thing, then it suddenly started working! I don't know why. This was back in July.

PN's new CSC Camera1 & 2 are showing different dates. The time on the correctly dated one however, appears to be on Double Summer Time! GMT+2. Did someone think they were saving a resetting job in a couple of weeks when BST finishes and 'corrected' the reading in the wrong direction?

This PC has got three browsers installed:

Internet Explorer:
Quote
Axis ActiveX Camera Control
The AXIS ActiveX Camera Control, which enables you to view live image streams in Microsoft Internet Explorer, could not be registered on your computer

Opera:
An image comes up but it kepts clearing and repainting - can't see what's happening.

Firefox:
Works perfectly

Just goes to show which is the best browser!

Looking at the old CSC Cams 1&2 using Kitz's site is a bit strange with all the lights out - rather creepy!

Very impressive, how about filling all of them empty desks ( at least 80/90% ) with some staff.

URL? (presuming northbritish was referring to the webcams).

Fantastic.  You'll have your work cut out when we switch them all on from the other departments!

Something funny going on with Kitz's webcam pages.

With the www. I get the old page (black background) showing lines of desks on their sides ready for moving.

Without the www I get the page for the new cameras.

Edit: Sorted by by a CTRL+F5 - I must have had it cached.

Be even more impressive if there were bums on seats at all those empty desks smiley
