The portal also appears to be constipated tonight. I can reach everywhere else I want to go except plusnet portal. I guess everyones trying to save 50p per mins and trying to check the status page.

I know the status line exists before anyone remineds me. Could the stats line no. be posted at the bottom of every plusnet page or quite prominantly elsewhere. Not everyone keeps these details to hand.

Cheers

Everyone should have been emailed with the details... and it did say to perhaps print them out.

Service Status Numbers are:
PlusNet - 0845 002 0173
Free-Online - 0845 002 0175
Force9 - 0845 002 0174

Cheers Colin.

It would be good o have them more accessable on the site. eg at the bottom of the page. The main no used to be there.
It would only need to be on the pages after logging in not the public pages.

This demonstrates what probably most people are guilty of (myself included), in that you never have the contact / config details to hand when you have a problem, which is when you most commonly require them. Might be worthwhile seeing if PlusNet could send a standard e-mail to all users with all of the contact info and server info. That way all users would have a copy of this locally if their network goes blat.

AFAIK, all the contact details WERE emailed to customers, in fact when I posted the numbers last night, I pulled from the ones sent to my accounts.

Hmm, can you look in "My Questions" and see if it's logged there?

I've just had my ADSL activated, and was definitely sent a "question" containing my config details.
