Think thats not a bad idea - except for the cost that plusnet would get for all the calls it would have to make back to its callers, think of the shareholders  wink

If PlusNet introduced a the BT call back option then all it would cost the customer would be 10p plus the cost of the call when it finally called back.

I don't believe you pay when they finally ring back do you?

Hi all,

Indeed, you are thinking of a different service that BT offer directly to the customer. It isn't something that the person you are ringing offers such as us.

It is also dependant on the carrier that the number terminates on.

Bear in mind that BT callback is designed that once the person is off the phone, your phone rings, and then the call is placed to the remote party as if you had just dialed their number. There is the risk of that person having alreayd picked up the phone and quickly getting an angaged tone again.

Additonally, this service only works on engaged lines, not those that have been answered, such as our phone system, which has clearly answered your call ones your into the IVR prompts.

Hi there

The oppurtunity to leave a short message and a number to receive a callback on is part of the functionality of the new phone system. This is something we are working towards over the coming weeks.

The lack of full stats on the portal is something that we are aware of and will be resolved within the next two weeks as we add software to the new phone system.

Hmm - the "Warning - while you were typing a new reply has been posted. You may wish to review your post." is quite handy I was just about to reply asking whether that was possible!!!
